Chateau Comtesse Lafond Epernay, France Wedding

Today we’re traveling to the north of france to the iconic region of champagne. Here at French Wedding Style, there are definitely two things we love that’s there, we love France and champagne. It almost can’t get any better than that for your France Wedding.

With the beautiful Château Comtesse Lafond as a background, dressed in stunning big brand outfits like Alexander McQueen and accessories by Chanel and Cartier this couple’s dream wedding came to life organised by Un Chouette Event. We will let them tell you about how this pefect day came to be.

Lauren and Etienne asked me to plan and design their wedding in Champagne, 8 months before the wedding. Etienne is Canadian and Lauren is American. They were living in New-York and wanted to get married in France, because they are in love with France, French food and French wine! They wanted their friends and family to discover our beautiful Champagne region! Everybody came from USA and Canada a few days before the D.Day.

Guests arrived on Thursday and visited several vineyards and cellars. In the evening, they went to a local “Bistrot”, to have a drink and some food in Epernay, the town of Champagne!
On Friday, the welcome dinner set, with a great cocktail, and a band which played music.

The D.Day arrived, and Lauren went to Reims to get her hair dressed, and then, she got dressed in the beautiful Château Comtesse Lafond, where the wedding would take place.
Lauren et Etienne wanted an elegant and simple wedding, I imagined a decor with luminous colors, which will be very nice in the cellar, where the dinner set.

The ceremony set in the garden, in front of the chateau, with wonderful flowers from Lettre à Elise Events. Then, the guests had the first glass of Champagne, in a typical Champagne cellar, with an incredible wall of bottles. Everybody then went outside to eat, drink, and listen to the band who played music. Then, the dinner set in another cellar, a beautiful room with walls of stone, and beautiful light. People danced all night and were really happy about the event!

Everything was so easy… No stress, a great atmosphere, and perfect weather! It was such a pleasure to work on Lauren and Etienne’s wedding because they are the most adorable persons I have seen! Always smiling, and so Kindly!
