Location: Provence, South of France
In the heart of Provence, at one of the most romantic wedding settings surrounded by lavender fields, endless waves of purple stretched beneath the golden light of the South of France, forming the backdrop for an engagement shoot that celebrated French simplicity and elegance. Wedding planner Candice of Quinze Heures Quinze and photographer Aude Lucas collaborated to create a vision that felt both luxurious and effortless: a countryside picnic surrounded by color, light, and stillness. Designed as inspiration for modern couples seeking romance beyond formality, the session blended natural texture with high style, showing how an engagement in Provence can feel intimate yet grand, understated yet unforgettable.

Fashion and Flow: From Daylight Ease to Golden-Hour Glamour
The shoot unfolded in two distinct moments, each reflecting the rhythm of Provence. For the daytime look, the bride wore “Lea” by Lili Pellegrino a light, vaporous gown paired with a wide-brimmed hat, echoing the relaxed grace of the countryside. The groom’s beige suit by Faubourg Saint Sulpice harmonized perfectly with the sun-warmed tones of the landscape. As afternoon softened into evening, the scene transformed. The bride-to-be changed into the “Diamond” gown by Pronovias, a sleek silhouette that caught every glint of the fading light. This natural transition from pastoral to polished—captured the ease and sophistication that define Provençal romance.
Lavender Light, Local Craft, and French “Art de Vivre”
The styling wove together artful simplicity and local craftsmanship. Makeup by Maureen L Beauty and hair by Best Coiffure by Yulia framed each look with quiet refinement, while jewelry by So Helo added luminous pearl details. Florals by Charlotte Boudreaux Design reflected the fields themselves, blending purples, pinks, and whites in loose, organic form. At the heart of the shoot, a picnic scene brought the “art de vivre” to life champagne, baguettes, fruit, and cheese arranged with understated luxury. As the sun dipped low, photographer Aude Lucas, one of the experienced wedding photographers in the South of France, captured the light turning golden across the lavender rows. The result was cinematic and timeless a love story written in color, scent, and the rhythm of Provence itself.
