Pearls and Burgundy Velvet at a Winter Chateau Wedding in France: Château d'Hazeville
Adeline and Quentin's winter chateau wedding in France at Château d'Hazeville: pearl strands, burgundy florals, calla lily bouquet, 50 guests.
A styled shoot built around a dark, cinematic winter fantasy: modern royalty, chiaroscuro light, the tension between tradition and desire. Maison Amare dreamed it up and set it at Château d'Hazeville, a countryside estate in the Grand Est, in the deep-winter light of January. Models Adeline and Quentin played the couple at its centre, styled in pearls, burgundy and green.

Design and Details

The palette ran burgundy and green in pearlescent tones, layered with draping, pearls and lace, and enriched with fruit and florals for depth. Efflorescence built a structured pearl-and-calla bridal bouquet and multitone arrangements for the ceremony table and the cake by Joe Les Gateaux. Small touches set the scene: a catering corner, an artist live-sketching guest portraits, and a welcoming banner at the entrance. Juliette Menard shot it to match the concept: blurred frames, black and white against colour, light caught as detail.

Venue

Château d'Hazeville is built for this kind of drama: gardens outside for a ceremony, grand rooms inside for a reception. The shoot used both. A symbolic garden ceremony staged in the cold, then a winter-toned reception inside, with a refined head table and an elegant cake corner.
