Berry Tones and Chapel Vows at Chateau de Bonaventure, Ile-de-France

Ling and Maxime returned to the French countryside to celebrate at an enchanting wedding chateau surrounded by private parkland near Paris, where historic interiors and garden terraces framed a bilingual celebration. Pascal Vo documented the day across this elegant chateau wedding estate in Ile-de-France, from chapel vows to a candlelit ballroom dinner.

Ceremony

Wedding ceremony inside Gothic chapel with ribbed vaulting and baroque altarpiece viewed from nave
Catholic ceremony in vaulted chapel with priest blessing couple, greenery garlands, and checkered floor

Couple walks down chapel aisle from behind with green garlands strung across nave and geometric tile floor
The bride and groom are captured from behind as they enter a building through large white double doors, likely at the start of or just after a ceremony. The bride wears a full ballgown-style white dress with a lace long-sleeve bodice and a voluminous multi-layered tulle skirt, paired with a long cathedral-length veil with a plain edge. The groom is dressed in a navy blue suit. The setting appears to be a formal stone venue, possibly a château or manor house, with classical stone pilasters flanking the doorway and stone steps leading to the entrance. The shot is a wide portrait taken from ground level behind the couple, emphasizing the dramatic train and veil of the bride's gown.
The couple is exiting a stone chapel through a large arched doorway after their ceremony, walking out together as guests on either side applaud and toss confetti. The groom wears a navy blue three-piece suit with a pink bow tie, and the bride wears a full ballgown with a tulle skirt, floral appliqué bodice, and a long veil, carrying a loose bouquet of blush, peach, and ivory blooms. The chapel entrance is flanked by low floral arrangements on the cobblestone steps featuring white and blush dahlias, peach blooms, and trailing greenery in a garden-style arrangement. Approximately 10–15 guests are visible in the background and to the sides, with the chapel's arched stone doorway and interior arch visible behind the couple in this medium wide shot.

Ling and Maxime exchanged vows inside a small Gothic chapel with ribbed vaulting and whitewashed walls. Arched alcoves framed the altar where Ancolie Landa placed a low arrangement of seasonal blooms in rust and muted gold. A Catholic liturgy unfolded beneath the pointed arches as soft light filtered through narrow lancet windows.

A bridal portrait taken indoors in what appears to be a French château, showing the bride from behind as she stands at the top of a curved staircase with ornate black wrought-iron balustrades. The bride wears a full-skirted white ball gown with an exceptionally long cathedral-length tulle veil that pools dramatically across the marble floor. She appears to be reading from a small booklet or card. The circular landing features tall arched windows with warm natural light, a large gilded-framed tapestry depicting a landscape and foliage scene on the wall behind her, and a candelabra with lit candles mounted to the ironwork railing. The composition is a wide-to-medium portrait shot from a slightly elevated angle, emphasizing the volume and spread of the dress and veil against the light marble floor. Potential venue feature image.

Inside a bright salon with white boiserie panelling and herringbone parquet, Fanny Wong finished a soft lip as the bride fastened her earrings. The Nicole Milano gown fell in clean lines against the classic French interior. Pascal Vo captured the final adjustments before moving to the curved staircase, where natural light outlined the full silhouette against wrought-iron balusters.

Pascal Vo led the couple through the formal garden, pausing on a gravel pathway where clipped hedges formed a natural corridor. A second series moved indoors to the curved staircase landing, where warm light from a tall window caught the bride's gown against wrought-iron balusters. Later frames returned to the garden, the chateau's stone facade softening in the afternoon light.

A close-up detail shot of a bridal bouquet placed in a clear glass vase on a marble mantelpiece inside a panelled white interior. The bouquet includes blush and cream dahlias, pale blush garden roses, small white star-shaped flowers, and delicate green filler stems, tied with a long frayed blush silk ribbon that drapes down the front of the vase. Beside the vase sits a white cylindrical branded candle or container printed with the Château de la Houssière logo. The overall decor palette is blush, cream, and soft pink, consistent with a classic romantic French château wedding aesthetic.
A close-up detail shot of a large floral centerpiece arrangement placed on a dark green wrought iron bistro table, set outdoors on a gravel and stone courtyard. The arrangement features blush roses, ivory garden roses, peach and yellow dahlias, soft green hydrangeas, pale pink nerine lilies, and mixed greenery including fern fronds and eucalyptus, creating a full, low, dome-shaped composition. The table is surrounded by matching dark green wrought iron bistro chairs, and the background shows a cream-rendered building facade with ornate black iron balcony railings and brick detailing. The overall floral palette is soft and muted — blush, cream, peach, soft green, and pale lavender — consistent with a classic French garden wedding aesthetic.
Close-up detail shot of a low floral centerpiece arranged in a cream ceramic pedestal vase, placed on a white linen-covered reception table inside a bright ballroom or formal indoor venue. The arrangement includes cream garden roses, blush dahlias, peach spray roses, pale pink larkspur, mauve wax flower, yellow lisianthus, trailing eucalyptus, and cascading red pepper berries, with scattered petals falling onto the tablecloth. The overall floral palette is soft and romantic, mixing creamy whites, blush, peach, and pale pink tones with touches of deep red from the berries. Clear glassware is partially visible to the right, and the blurred background reveals additional table arrangements, overhead lighting, and tall windows with sheer curtains in a light-filled reception room.

A pale blue vintage Citroen Traction Avant sat on the gravel drive, its curves echoing the chateau's classical lines. Ancolie Landa layered table centres with berry tones, taper candles, and clusters of fruit in warm copper vessels. Silver glitter kitten-heel pumps and a dusty blue velvet ring box by Cotton Bird completed the detail vignettes arranged on white linen.

A wedding reception room setup shot inside a formal ballroom-style venue with white panelled walls, parquet flooring, and floor-length taupe curtains. The room features multiple round guest tables dressed in white floor-length linens, surrounded by gold geometric-frame chairs with ivory cushioned seats, and a long rectangular head table at the back of the room set against tall windows. Table centerpieces consist of low, lush arrangements of blush, dusty rose, cream, and mauve blooms including what appear to be garden roses, ranunculus, and trailing greenery, placed in natural wood-toned vessels. The head table features a more elaborate elevated floral arrangement with greenery and blush tones at its center. Two large crystal tiered chandeliers hang from the ceiling, supplemented by wall sconces that cast warm light throughout the space. Each place setting includes white folded napkins, silver cutlery, multiple wine glasses, and small decorative place cards. The overall decor palette is white, gold, and blush, with a classic French interior style. Wide-angle room shot with no people present. Potential venue feature image.
An outdoor wide shot of a French château estate's outbuildings and grounds, showing no wedding party or guests. The scene features a weathered stone and brick outbuilding with an arched white-framed window alongside a round tower with a dark slate conical roof, characteristic of French Renaissance architecture. The foreground includes a gravel driveway bordered by neatly clipped low boxwood hedges, rounded topiary shrubs on a lawn, and a bed of small white flowering plants lining the path. The image is shot in soft, bright natural light with an airy, slightly overexposed tone. Potential venue feature image.
