Location: Arles, Provence, South of France
When Dina and Blair began planning their wedding, the goal was clear—create a space that felt like home. After moving to Toulouse in 2023, France quickly became a place of grounding, comfort, and connection. While Italy was the initial idea, their hearts brought them back to the country that had become part of their love story. Set in the wetland of Camargue, Château de Paon became the perfect backdrop for their intimate four-day wedding. Its peaceful terraces, stone walls, and garden framed the weekend with a sense of warmth and privacy. The celebration began with a civil ceremony at the Capitole in Toulouse, followed by three sun-drenched days of joy, laughter, and love.
White Linen, Green Florals and Meaning: A Wedding Designed with Intention
The wedding design embraced softness and simplicity, always guided by the couple’s wish to keep things authentic and meaningful. The ceremony took place under a large tree at Château de Paon, with green and white florals on pedestals, fabric draping from the branches, and seating nestled within the trees. The tone was light, humorous and heartfelt—officiated by a bridesmaid and close friend. Reception tables were dressed in white linen with glass candle holders and soft blooms. Subtle nods to Dina and Blair’s Scottish and Norwegian roots appeared in table names like Sláinte and Skål. Their aesthetic stayed understated yet refined: cream and green florals, thoughtful textures, and meaningful details. From welcome dinner to pool party, each day carried its own palette and tone—always unified by a sense of closeness.
The Creative Team That Brought It All Together
With a focus on storytelling and feeling, every element of this weekend was carefully captured and curated by a team that truly understood the couple’s vision. Daria Walter Photography delivered imagery that felt polished yet personal, capturing both posed moments and candid emotion. Her content team documented all four days with the same attention to light and movement. Planning was led by Moments Lab, ensuring the weekend flowed with ease. Floral design by Any Flowers stayed true to the couple’s desire for natural beauty without excess. The energy of the weekend came alive with music from Zephyr Officiel and Jayli Music, while food and wine from Le Veil des Papilles and Le Comptoir des Vins made each meal unforgettable. The magic of Château de Paon was truly brought to life by a team who cared deeply about every detail.
