Location: Beaune • Burgundy • North of France
Anthony and Ella hosted a three-day celebration in Burgundy at Château de Varennes, a world renowned estate with 27 bedrooms. The estate, framed by lavender fields and long lawns, created a relaxed rhythm for arrivals and outdoor dining. The weekend opened with a welcome dinner that doubled as the bride’s birthday, held behind the luxury Burgundy wedding château under warm air scented with lavender. Seasonal dishes, soft purple and green florals, and candlelight introduced a tone of understated modernity. Château de Varennes, a romantic property near Beaune, offered ceremony and dining spaces within one sweeping view. Under the North of France light, transitions stayed natural, the pace unhurried, and the atmosphere distinctly French.

Driveway Vows and a Lawn Dinner in Burgundy Hues
The ceremony unfolded on Château de Varennes’ grand driveway, the façade rising behind and gravel marking each step. Birdsong and light wind framed the vows before guests crossed to the front lawn for dinner beneath open sky. Deep reds and burgundy tones contrasted with pale linens and black napkins, while embroidered ribbons at each place lent a personal note. As daylight softened, candlelight reflected across glass and stone, keeping the tone intimate yet lively. A choreographed dance by the couple’s nieces brought laughter across the lawn, the applause carrying through the warm Burgundy evening as the sky dimmed to silver.
Modern Design and Fine Art Photography in Burgundy
Across the weekend, planner Amoro Event, a talented destination wedding planner coordinated the flow from welcome dinner to farewell brunch with measured precision, aligning teams and timing around the château’s changing light. The celebration was documented by Polina Yarmush, one of the best wedding photographers in Burgundy, whose work emphasized movement, texture, and atmosphere. Her approach captured both the estate’s grand architecture and the candid moments that defined the weekend’s warmth. As guests lingered in the gardens and candles burned low, Château de Varennes appeared luminous against the night, its history and stillness anchoring a celebration that felt both modern and rooted in place.
