Their commitment to each other was sealed when Christopher proposed at a Château in Saint Émilion, binding their journey together with the beauty of the French landscape.

When it came to planning their wedding, the couple’s fondness for French gastronomy and wine was at the forefront of their decision to marry in France. They reached out to craft a wedding that was both elegant and infused with the poetic charm of French culture. Château de Garde, situated in the quaint village of Moulon amidst lush vineyards, stood out as the quintessential venue for its enchanting setting and ample accommodations. The couple’s visit to Bordeaux, filled with tastings and trials, only reaffirmed their choice, with the castle’s charm bringing Lauren to tears and assuring them they had found the perfect setting for their special day.
Wedding Design, Decor, and Theme
The wedding design tastefully married the sophistication of French style with the warmth of American customs, setting a scene that highlighted the splendor of Château de Garde. The bridesmaids, dressed in elegant champagne-colored gowns, brought an air of refined unity to the event.
