Location: near Bordeaux • Nouvelle-Aquitaine • South of France
Lauren and Christopher chose France for its food, wine, and a shared history rooted in time spent in Bordeaux and Aix. Château de Garde sat in Moulon among working vines, close to the city yet firmly in the countryside. The estate offered guest rooms and broad lawns so everyone stayed near the action. Short drives, quiet lanes, and the sound of gravel underfoot set an unhurried pace. A concise venue note: This exceptional reesidence for weddings featured vineyard views, on-site stays, and terraces that supported ceremony and dinner in one address, keeping movement simple for a traveling guest list.

Vows Outdoors, Champagne Names, and Tables that Nodded to Local Wine
The ceremony unfolded outside with pink and white roses framing the aisle and this stunning wedding venue located amongst vineyards stone as backdrop. Warm air moved across the rows while guests settled into the garden. Later, dinner began as the sun lowered, glass catching late light and conversation building between courses. Tables carried names from nearby vineyards, and menus showed gold sketches of Château de Garde, a small tribute to place. A champagne fountain marked toasts before night portraits in the vines. The bridesmaids wore champagne tones that read cohesive in photographs and sat cleanly against limestone, linen, and the deepening sky.
Speeches, A Sky of Color, and Credits that Held the Day Together
Speeches brought a stillness to the courtyard before music filled the night once more. Fireworks rose above the vineyard, their color reflected in glasses and windowpanes. The celebration came together under By Lea, one of France’s leading wedding planners, whose approach balanced design and timing. It was documented by Elsa Caza, among the most stylish wedding photographers in France, whose work captured the rhythm of the evening in natural light. With minimal transfers and the breeze moving softly across terraces, the finale felt both grounded and celebratory a perfect close to a story deeply connected to Bordeaux.
