Location: Orléans • Loire Valley • North of France
Tucked in the heart of the French countryside, Château de Courcelles le Roy became the setting for an intimate 12-person editorial that embraced calm, clarity, and natural beauty. With soft spring light falling over sweeping lawns and gravel paths, the château offered a peaceful atmosphere ideal for capturing thoughtful, modern wedding inspiration. The concept brought together soft colors, fresh florals, and intentional design—highlighting the couple’s elegant simplicity and the venue’s quiet strength.
Soft Textures, Cool Tones, and a Calm Spring Mood
The editorial favored clean lines and soft textures, creating a calm, refined look that fit seamlessly into the spring setting. Attendants wore pale blue, while the bride’s white and ecru dress and the groom’s classic black added contrast for portraits. For the ceremony, he shifted to a cream suit that softened the look against the château’s stone. The bride wore a beautiful dress by Ségolène Gabet, featuring delicate lace cuffs. The design was both flowy and fitted, moving gently with every step.
Seamless Styling and Flow at Château de Courcelles le Roy
Reception styling followed the same thoughtful, minimalist approach. Toile de Jouy linens, blue napkins and blush whate and blue flowers adorned the table and it was placed to merge with the landscape, letting the view extend effortlessly from the table’s edge to the horizon. As the sun began to dip, candlelight glowed against the château walls and the quiet sounds of conversation filled the air. Planner Com une Orchidee guided the flow of the day with care, allowing each scene to unfold naturally while Photographer Aurore Poupon captured the day in both sweeping landscapes and thoughtful close-ups, always keeping Château de Courcelles le Roy at the heart of every frame.
