We are heading to Bordeaux for a beautiful wedding at the gorgeous Chateau Rigaud, for the wedding of Camilla and Tim.
We are always pleased to show the wonderful work of FWS vendor Awardweddings who offer a complete package of photography, film and coordination from bespoke projects to comprehensive campaigns. Its website is divided into three areas that are designed to cater to your needs. It’s a partnership that offers a variety of services. Mark, is the photographer, videographer and designer whilst Clémentine is the communications and events consultant/planner. This beautiful Chateau Rigaud wedding was captured by Mark, you’ll also see their wedding film at the end of the feature.

After looking at multiple venues in the UK without finding what they really wanted, Camilla’s sister shared an incredible venue she’d been to as a guest. Camilla and Tim immediately fell in love with it and flew over a few weeks later to visit it.
After spending a weekend there sampling the wine, food and visiting the venue, they were completely under the charm of everything there! They hadn’t seen any other venues and if they had to do it again, they wouldn’t change a thing!
The wedding took place at the end of April 2019 and the couple spent a few days with their closes family and friends. “It will make you feel like you’re on holiday with everyone you love and all your worries will disappear”, says Camilla.
The onsite wedding planner helped the couple plan the wedding. “I can’t tell you how at ease I was knowing that there was someone who spoke the language and was on the ground helping me get stuff sorted.” Says the couple.
The ceremony took place under a beautiful tree, with Sandie Smith, a great English celebrant based in France. Cocktails and canapes took place outdoors on the grounds of the property. Dinner and party were in the barn, decorated with hundreds of candles.
The styling was classic, elegant and just magical with a lot of candles! Beautiful flowers arrangements with white flowers and foliage punctuated the day.
It really was a wonderful day and Camilla gives us a final tip! “Remember to not do too much wine sampling the night before the big day!”
