Silk-Satin and Limestone at The Louvre Museum, Paris

Stephanie and Paul in a couture editorial at The Louvre Museum, Paris, with Aurelio Biocchi silk-satin and Anthemis Paris gold. 25 photos by Elsa Daniel.

By Anne-Sophie Boubals | Published 12 February 2026 | Last reviewed | Photos by Elsa Daniel

Shot across corridors and courtyards of The Louvre Museum and the surrounding Parisian cityscape, this editorial by Elsa Daniel, a Paris-based wedding and editorial photographer moves between architectural grandeur and quiet human warmth. The glass pyramid cast long diamond-shaped shadows across pale limestone as Stephanie turned to Paul with a laugh. Elsa Daniel positioned Stephanie beneath arched corridors where diffused light sculpted the Aurelio Biocchi Heart Couture gown in fluid ivory silk-satin, its surface carrying a faint blue-white iridescence. Bridal stylist Giulia Solli layered accessories from Anthemis Paris with precision: a thin gold cuff and a barely-there veil dissolving into the stone background. Elena Gentile kept the beauty palette close to the architecture, alabaster skin and a rose lip.

What Elsa Daniel captures is the way Stephanie and Paul move together, two people with deep roots in the fashion world who understand how to inhabit a frame while letting real feeling come through. Paul's hand at the small of Stephanie's back, her chin tilting upward mid-conversation: these are moments held still. Pale gravel paths of the Tuileries and corridors of Palais Royal shifted the mood between each sequence.
