Location: Antibes • French Riviera • South of France
Set on the glittering coastline of Cap d’Antibes, Alexandra and Thomas celebrated their wedding at the iconic Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, luxury 5 star hotel for wedings and private events in Cap d’Antibes . The London-based couple first met while working for the same company, but their story truly began when Thomas proposed during a surprise trip to Italy. With Alexandra’s family villa nearby, the Riviera quickly became the natural choice for their destination wedding. The day unfolded with a refined ease, surrounded by Mediterranean light, family, and friends who had travelled from across Europe to share in the occasion.

From Church Ceremony to Coastal Cruise
The day began in Antibes, where Alexandra, her mother, and bridesmaids had their hair and makeup styled at Dessange before returning to the Eden Roc to dress. Meanwhile, Thomas and his family played a morning game of tennis at the hotel’s courts. In the afternoon, three coaches carried guests from the Eden Roc to the Anglican Church in Nice, where Alexandra arrived in a white Rolls-Royce Ghost alongside her father. The entrance, accompanied by a choir and organist performing Zadok the Priest, was deeply moving and set the tone for the ceremony ahead.
A Reception by the Sea
After the vows, guests were taken to Nice Port for a private boat cruise along the coast, with cocktails served as the sun softened over the Mediterranean. Upon arriving at Port Gallice in Antibes, Alexandra and Thomas continued in an authentic Grace Kelly car, a nod to the film To Catch a Thief, before rejoining their guests at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, a riviera venue that has it’s own restaurant and luxury guest suites. The reception took place in the hotel’s gardens and terrace, where a string quartet played through cocktails before a live band carried the celebration into the night. The day was the result of months of thoughtful planning by Maryne of Eternal Event, a talented wedding planner on the French Riviera whose guidance brought together a wedding that balanced Riviera sophistication with intimate family warmth.
