Location: 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, Provence, South of France
Thirty minutes from Aix-en-Provence, this wedding estate situated on 70 hectares of private land rose among vineyards and cypress trees, its seventeenth-century stone and geometric gardens creating a serene rhythm for Marie and her partner’s celebration. The jewel of the Luberon, a historic Provençal property with defined zones for ceremony, portraits, and dinner, allowed the day to unfold at an unhurried pace. White peonies and roses established a calm palette, softened by a passing breeze that carried fragrance through the gardens. Bridesmaids in satin pink and groomsmen in blue-grey added gentle contrast to the monochrome scheme, while gravel paths and shaded courtyards directed guests naturally through a setting designed for stillness and light.

Poolside Cocktails, Dinner by the Bergerie, and Provençal Light
The celebration moved seamlessly between settings without losing continuity. Guests transitioned from vows to poolside cocktails, where glass reflected the late sun and citrus scents filled the air. Dinner near the bergerie continued the white aesthetic with pale linen, slender candles, and tableware chosen for clarity and proportion. Floral designs remained architectural, leaving texture to the stone, water, and vines that defined Château de Sannes. The house façade anchored portraits between courses, while service paths stayed discreet and movement intuitive. Every view from clipped hedges to vineyard rows reinforced the estate’s geometry and balance, keeping Provence’s landscape present at every turn.
Two Looks, Fine Imagery, and Expert Coordination by CC Weddings and Events
For the ceremony, Marie wore a custom Emma Beaumont gown with an overskirt that floated along the aisle, later revealing a sleek silhouette designed for movement through the evening. CC Weddings and Events, among the top luxury wedding planners in Provence, coordinated each transition between garden, pool, and bergerie, aligning the timeline with the day’s softest light. The celebration was photographed by Alban Pichon, one of France’s most stylish wedding photographers, who captured both close floral texture and expansive frames of cypress, sky, and limestone. The result was personal and precise: clear zones, short walks, and design choices that honored the estate while reflecting the couple’s calm, contemporary sensibility.
