Location: Challain-la-Potherie • Loire Valley • North of France
In the heart of the Loire Valley, where rolling countryside meets castle spires, this disney fairytale castle wedding venue rose as the ultimate setting for a Jewish wedding editorial that celebrated romance, heritage, and design in harmony. Set within 72 acres of pristine parkland, this neo-Gothic château often called the Cinderella Castle of France offered a backdrop of grand architecture, mirrored halls, and sweeping gardens. Planned by La Fête, the production wove together royal inspiration and modern storytelling, turning centuries of French artistry into a scene of contemporary refinement. Shades of white, lilac, and gold anchored the vision, while the estate’s intricate stonework and rich history grounded each frame in authenticity.

Lilac Accents, Regal Motifs, and French Heritage Reimagined
The creative direction began with color an exploration of purples, lilacs, and whites inspired by the hues of Toile de Jouy and France’s royal aesthetic. The bridal gown by Katya Katya carried Victorian influence in its lace high collar and soft movement, paired with a groom’s white dinner jacket and embroidered kippah. Bridesmaids in lilac Motee Maid dresses brought subtle sparkle, their tones playing beautifully against navy suits. De Winton Paper Co crafted stationery that fused nature and grandeur, featuring a bespoke watercolor of Château de Challain and a delicate floral-border ketubah, tying the visual identity to Jewish tradition. In the salons, table settings blended gold accents, crystal, and greenery, with ostrich feathers suspended from chandeliers to add a note of opulence without overwhelming the room’s architectural detail.
Beauty, Florals, and a Dream Realized in the Loire Valley
Beauty and styling followed a restrained elegance. Eva Beauty Art created a soft, glowing look for the bride copper-toned eyes, a flawless matte complexion, and neutral lips that let the intricate lace of her gown remain the focus. Hair flowed in soft waves, half-pinned for natural movement. Florals by Mister Brett Events, one of the creative floral designers in France, stayed classically fresh with white peonies, hydrangeas, and roses a timeless palette that paired perfectly with the château’s candlelit interiors. A three-tier dove-grey and white cake by Dealicious Gateaux, with piped lace and cascading sugar flowers, completed the regal tableau. Guided by Charlotte of La Fête, among the top luxury wedding planners in France, this production at Château de Challain proved how French heritage, Jewish tradition, and modern elegance can intertwine seamlessly creating a story that feels at once majestic and deeply personal.
