Location: Chartres • Paris • North of France
This editorial, titled “Endless Romance,” was brought to life at the charming Manoir de Vacheresses, a character-filled wedding venue nestled right on the edge of Yvelines, between Paris and Chartres. With its unique mix of medieval charm and modern touches, the manor created a peaceful, storybook-like setting for the shoot. Inside, deep green velvet sofas, antique portraits, and a striking stone fireplace gave the rooms a warm, lived-in feel. A glittering chandelier above the dining table added a hint of old-world drama. Outside, the vast parkland—complete with a historic dovecote and towering trees—set the perfect scene for an alfresco dinner. As the day slipped into evening, the soft autumn sunset light gave the whole place a dreamlike glow. With its striking architecture and quiet countryside feel, Manoir de Vacheresses was the ideal backdrop for a romantic celebration.

An Autumn Palette Brought to Life Through Texture and Form
The editorial’s artistic direction was a celebration of delicate autumnal charm, expertly curated by Pauélia Agency, one of Paris’s talented wedding planners. The design played with a rich, autumn-inspired palette—olive green, apricot, violet, blush pink, and ivory—woven seamlessly through lush floral arrangements. Seasonal favorites like hydrangeas and dahlias brought bold color and texture, while baroque-style blooms spilled from vintage baskets, adding a wild, romantic touch. The tablescape was a feast for the eyes: antique silver candelabras flickered between piles of figs, pumpkins, and autumn vegetables, creating a display that felt both abundant and artful. Ivory plates, silver cutlery tied with lace ribbons, and soft candlelight set the scene with a nostalgic flair. Alicia wore a breathtaking JORY gown from L’Atelier Privé de la Mariée—modern yet timeless, with delicate details that caught the light beautifully. Her sleek bun and pearl earrings finished the look with quiet grace. Nicolas looked effortlessly sharp in a classic black tuxedo, styled with a bow tie and a Seiko Presage watch that added just the right touch of refinement.
A Design that Invited Connection and Intimacy
This intimate affair at Manoir de Vacheresses was beautifully captured by Frances Mary Sales, a talented wedding photographer based in France. The dinner scene was thoughtfully composed, with every detail working together to create a sense of warmth and ease. A table beneath the open sky, dressed in soft linen and adorned with seasonal fruit and gvegetables—figs, plums, and squash nestled among sculptural florals in deep, muted tones. The arrangement felt effortless, yet curated with intention. Every frame told its own quiet story, from soft glances to sweeping motion captured with an eye for emotion and atmosphere. Behind the scenes, the creative minds at Pauélia Agency brought everything together with intention and ease, shaping an editorial that felt both dreamy, intimate and deeply expressive.
