Location: 40 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, Provence, South of France
Kate and Dylan’s celebration at this homely and luxurious hotel with 2 gourmet restaurants captured Provence at its most evocative: lavender-scented air, baskets of market produce, and long tables bathed in golden light. This three-day gathering in the South of France fused relaxed elegance with heartfelt hospitality, bringing together good food, fine wine, and the easy rhythm of countryside living. The 4-star Relais & Châteaux hotel in the Luberon, surrounded by vines and rose gardens, offered a tranquil backdrop for moments that felt both cinematic and deeply personal. Guests moved between terraces, lawns, and courtyards as light shifted and the fragrance of herbs carried across the air a true Provençal experience.

A Rehearsal Dinner Inspired by Provence’s Open-Air Markets
The weekend began in the rose garden, where Chloé You & C, one of France’s leading professional wedding planners, transformed the rehearsal dinner into a vibrant ode to the region’s markets. Long tables overflowed with vine-ripened tomatoes, bundles of herbs, and artichokes natural centerpieces that celebrated texture and season. Guests dined on a relaxed barbecue feast while sipping lavender cocktails, the sound of live jazz floating between the vines. As the evening faded, a rainbow appeared above the ceremony lawn a fleeting, perfect moment that felt like Provence itself blessing what was to come. The atmosphere carried warmth, laughter, and the soft promise of the next day.
A Romantic Garden Ceremony and Starry Night Celebration
The wedding day unfolded beneath the open sky, surrounded by pastel florals, wicker accents, and the warmth of late-summer air. Shades of blush, blue, and cream harmonized with Domaine de Fontenille’s gardens and terraces, tying the day together with understated elegance. DJ Damien Keys accompanied the ceremony on piano before turning the courtyard into a vibrant dance floor later that night. Dinner under the stars featured Provençal cuisine by Chef Guillaume Goupil, paired with wines from the estate’s own cellar. The day’s story was captured by Pinewood Weddings, among the most stylish wedding photographers in France, whose imagery caught every laugh, every teary glance, and every golden reflection a portrait of joy, place, and pure Provence.
