Jake and Remy’s Story
Meet our lovely couple, who met at school and first connected during a ski trip in 2012. That snowy adventure marked the beginning of their journey together, leading them to their magical wedding at Chateau le Mas de Montet also called the ”Chateau Charmant”, which was nothing short of a fairytale.
The proposal: Their magical engagement story is one for the books! It took place at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. Jake, ever the romantic, had secretly reserved the best table with an incredible view for lunch. After savoring an exquisite tasting menu, the staff brought out a cloche with “one last surprise.” When it was lifted, there was a ring box! Jake, trembling with excitement, asked the love of his life to marry him. It was a moment of pure joy and surprise!
Planning a French Destination Wedding at Chateau le Mas de Montet
Choosing France for Their Wedding: The couple always dreamed of a sun-soaked wedding abroad with a relaxed holiday vibe for their guests. The moment they drove through the gates of Chateau le Mas Montet, they knew it was the perfect venue. The breathtaking chateau and its picturesque grounds were everything they envisioned for their dream wedding. They highly recommend hiring a wedding planner for destination weddings. Justine from Marry Me in France was phenomenal, guiding them through every detail, from catering to flowers, music, and make-up, ensuring their special day was flawless.
The Wedding Style: Elegant and Timeless Details
Color Palette and Decorations: The couple’s shared love for a neutral color palette was evident in their wedding decor. They chose whites, creams, and touches of gold to create a timeless look. The bridesmaids wore beautiful oyster dresses and carried simple bouquets of gypsophila while the bride’s bouquet featured eucalyptus and white flowers. The evening reception was adorned with streams of fairy lights and numerous candles, creating a magical and intimate atmosphere.
The Wedding Songs: Setting the Perfect Mood
Ceremony and Reception Music: Their ceremony featured a string quartet, adding an elegant touch to the proceedings. Remy’s processional song was “Canon by Pachelbel,” and they signed the register to “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” They made a lively exit to “Sir Duke.” For their evening reception, the couple made a grand entrance to “Sunchyme” by Dario G, which got everyone dancing and set the tone for a fun-filled night. Their first dance was to “My Girl” by The Temptations, and after the first verse and chorus, guests joined them on the dance floor, creating an unforgettable moment of celebration with all their favorite people.
