Location: Provence • South of France
Maison Claudie, an exceptional wedding venue in Provence perfect for 3 day weddings became a creative base for a three-day residency focused on craft, iteration, and light. The property, surrounded by quiet lanes and pale stone, offered both calm and clarity courtyards, terraces, and garden paths that made movement fluid between scenes. The Provencal estate perfect for a destination wedding’s architecture blended contemporary simplicity with traditional Provençal character, its rooms bright in the morning and cool by afternoon. Designed as a working retreat, it allowed teams to test ideas in real time: refining place settings, tuning color against natural light, and exploring how rhythm and repetition shaped design. It was a South of France setting that valued balance and time ideal for weddings, editorials, and creative work rooted in texture and tone.

Blue Hues, Limned Florals, and Provençal Produce
The main tablescape explored blue tones elegant yet grounded brought to life by Maison Fête and Co–style inspiration. Crisp porcelain, polished glass, and silver reflected flickering candlelight, while sculptural florals ran the table’s length, low enough to keep faces visible. Linen brushed wrists, taper smoke curled through air, and the sound of quiet conversation filled the room. Later, a brunch vignette reimagined the palette with a burst of seasonal color: tomatoes, citrus, and herbs arranged playfully on pale stone. The transition from evening formality to morning informality created a full story one that felt true to Provence itself, where color, produce, and pace shift naturally through the day.
Workflow, Direction, and Measured Design
Savina Uldry, one of Provence’s trusted wedding planners, guided the residency with clarity and precision, keeping styling rounds and camera tests fluid. Her direction ensured that every reset between interiors, gardens, and shaded terraces remained smooth and intentional. Marion Co, among the respected wedding photographers in the South of France, documented the process with a focus on movement, texture, and reflection. Her imagery translated light across glass, metal, and fabric, capturing both the craftsmanship and the calm of the day. Production teams Beyond the Pines and Baisers salés supported the flow behind the scenes, ensuring every shift of scene remained seamless. As dusk settled, glasses chimed in the courtyard and the residency closed where it began — in balance, with design and light in quiet conversation at Maison Claudie.
