Vineyard Views and a French Feast
The outdoor ceremony faced the vineyards, where wooden chairs lined the aisle and light wind rustled the surrounding greenery. Nicki prepared with her six bridesmaids in one of Château de Garde’s bright salons, while Richard and his groomsmen shared champagne upstairs. After the vows, guests enjoyed an extended cocktail hour with a live band, four food stations, and a champagne fountain that made the afternoon feel authentically French. Dinner followed inside the reception room, where exposed beams, a fireplace, and wooden tables framed a meal of four courses served with regional wines. Conversation rose easily beneath the glow of candlelight and laughter.
