Location: Orgon • Provence • South of France
Mas de la Rose, a boutique hotel for weddings with lavender fields near Eygalières offered the ideal rhythm for Yin and Arnaud’s Franco-Chinese wedding celebration. Guests arrived through rows of cypress and terraces of pale stone, greeted by the scent of herbs on the warm air. The couple exchanged vows beneath clear Provençal skies while cicadas hummed through the gardens. With ceremony, cocktails, and dinner all held on-site, the day unfolded naturally a single address where everything flowed, from vows to toasts, across lawns and courtyards framed by olive trees. The atmosphere at the charming wedding estate with pool and onsite accommodation balanced intimacy and openness, the landscape itself becoming part of the story.

Soft Neutrals, Garden Florals, and Mediterranean Light
The day’s styling followed the estate’s natural palette: linen against limestone, greenery against pale blooms, and glass reflecting the evening light. The ceremony took place within the gardens’ Mediterranean planting, where a light breeze carried lavender through the air. Guests wandered between terraces as servers passed cold drinks, the pace relaxed and personal. Dinner followed on the courtyard terrace, tables lit by soft candlelight as the sun faded into blue. Mas de la Rose, with its Provençal stone walls and shaded walkways, guided the flow seamlessly from day into night an effortless transition from golden hour to music, laughter, and evening calm.
Photography With Place at Its Heart
The celebration was captured by Alexandr Purcel, one of Provence’s talented wedding photographers, whose approach emphasized both people and place. He worked with natural, directional light, framing Yin and Arnaud along gravel paths, beneath olive branches, and beside the weathered stone of the estate. His images held a quiet rhythm fleeting gestures, soft laughter, and the warmth of Provençal air rendered in every frame. Guests sipped local wine, children played near the courtyard, and music floated between candlelit tables. The resulting collection offered more than memory: it was Provence itself, preserved in texture, tone, and light.
