Location: 3 hours from Paris, Loire Region, Northern France
Kaitlynn and Alec gathered family and friends from around the world for a multiday celebration in the North of France. Château de Jalesnes, a beautiful Renaissance castle rich with history surrounded by rolling countryside, offered both accommodation and event spaces within its grand walls. Guests arrived from Paris and nearby villages, filling the courtyards and gardens with conversation. Days began slowly with breakfast in the château’s light-filled rooms and ended with long dinners beneath the stars. Across the weekend, the property became more than a venue with 5 star accommodation and a stunning chapel it was a shared home base where travel disappeared and connection deepened.

Colour, Design, and a Confident Dress Within Historic Walls
Every detail of the wedding design carried intention and balance. Gold accents appeared in stationery, flatware, and candleholders, adding quiet richness without excess. Floral arrangements in salmon, yellow, and orange brought freshness to the château’s stone interiors, while tall windows and high ceilings framed the dinner scenes in soft evening light. Kaitlynn chose a gown with a structured silhouette and subtle 1980s influence, its clean lines matching the architecture’s symmetry. Alec’s tailored suit mirrored the formality of the setting. As service moved between the courtyard and dining hall, candlelight reflected off glassware, creating an atmosphere both composed and welcoming.
Personal Moments and the Team Behind the Celebration
The weekend concluded with an intimate candlelit dinner followed by fireworks that illuminated Château de Jalesnes’s façade. Stories were shared, laughter carried across the table, and the final toast marked the close of a thoughtful, joyful stay. The event’s flow was shaped by Rose Andrew Events, one of Paris’s leading wedding planners, whose guidance ensured balance between structure and spontaneity. Photography by Sarah Lord, among the most admired wedding photographers in the Loire Valley, preserved each moment from the glow of the dinner to the guests’ faces lifted toward the night sky. The result was a celebration defined by care, presence, and shared memory.
