Cozy Chalet Style and Alpine Details
The couple wanted their décor to feel natural and authentic, steering away from overt Christmas themes while embracing alpine textures. Chalet des Praz, with its timber walls and exposed beams, provided instant atmosphere. Paule styled the tables with burlap runners, fir branches, pine cones, and jars trimmed with lace and raffia, creating a rustic but balanced look. Wooden logs added height and warmth to the arrangements, while the glow of candlelight softened the space. Every detail reflected intention and familiarity a setting that needed little embellishment to feel complete. As snow fell outside, the interiors came alive with laughter, wine, and the hum of a fire-lit dinner.
Snow Portraits and the Warmth of Shared Moments
The celebration unfolded over a full weekend, beginning with Friday’s civil ceremony and continuing through a day of mountain air, music, and togetherness. For Paule and Vincent, the highlight came during their portrait session a quiet walk into the surrounding Alps where snow met sky and silence framed every breath. The day was captured by Zephyr & Luna, one of the most admired wedding photographers in the Alps, whose work translated both the grandeur of the landscape and the intimacy of the couple’s connection. Her imagery captured texture and emotion sheepskin-lined chairs, candlelit tables, a frozen backdrop creating a record of winter elegance shaped by love, place, and season.
