Location: Bordeaux • Nouvelle-Aquitaine • Southwest of France
Diana and Chris chose Château de Mirambeau, a dream venue near Bordeaux with wedding packages for their wedding, drawn by its restored grandeur and tranquil setting between vineyards and forest. The day began in a nearby chapel, where candles flickered against weathered stone and soft sunlight filtered through stained glass. From there, guests returned to the Château, its towers rising gently above the gardens. Inside the luxury Bordeaux wedding castle, the couple hosted their celebration with understated grace, surrounded by the warmth of late-summer light and the quiet rhythms of rural Bordeaux. Each part of the day flowed naturally, framed by the château’s historic charm and welcoming atmosphere.

A Palette of Blush, Sage, and Gold
Design defined the mood of the day. The chapel was filled with pale florals roses, lisianthus, and soft hydrangeas each arrangement catching the candlelight. Inside Château de Mirambeau, the reception tables continued the palette of blush rosé, sage, and gold, layered with linen, delicate stationery, and sculptural arrangements. The overall effect felt natural and timelessly French. Gentle light filled each room, highlighting small details: hand-tied ribbons, golden cutlery, and the couple’s elegant cake adorned with wafer-paper petals that mirrored the floral tones. Every element reflected thoughtful artistry and a calm, harmonious flow from ceremony to dinner.
Guided with Ease by a Talented Team
Behind the celebration was planner Angie Maraval, an experienced wedding planner in Bordeaux who oversaw the day with quiet precision and a focus on relaxed pacing. Together with the creative team BOWE and florist Little Rose, she transformed each space while keeping the event’s atmosphere unhurried and personal. The story was captured by Vera Schulz, one of France’s talented wedding photographers, whose eye for light and emotion brought texture and depth to every image. Her portraits within Château de Mirambeau captured the gentle glow of the setting sun and the intimacy of each moment — a fitting reflection of a day defined by ease, beauty, and connection.
