The couple, Mathieu and Mumu, spent a whole year looking for the perfect place to get married and finally chose the beautiful Chateau de Ferrieres, only 30 minutes from Paris. Their summer 2023 wedding was extra special because it was on the groom’s birthday!

Preparing for the Big Day at Chateau de Ferrieres
Before the wedding, the bride got ready with her bridesmaids and mom in a beautifully decorated room, and the groom got ready with their dog, Miso, in a fancy hall. Their first look was on the garden stairs – It was a magical moment, full of love and emotion. Then followed a photo shoot session around the castle, where the couple also took a ride on their getaway wedding car, a retro Ford.
The Wedding Ceremony
Initially planning an outdoor ceremony, unexpected rain shifted the event inside Chateau de Ferrières. Despite the change, the ceremony remained stunning, highlighted by the bride’s beautiful dress and Miso’s ring-bearing moment, adding charm to their ceremony at Chateau de Ferrières.
Dinner and Party in the Castle’s Luxurious Rooms
Afterwards, guests and the newlyweds enjoyed a splendid dinner at Chateau de Ferrières, surrounded by beautiful decorations. The celebration continued with cake cutting and dancing in one of the castle’s luxurious rooms, ensuring the Chateau de Ferrières wedding was memorable.
The Couple’s Love Story
Mathieu and Mumu’s relationship grew from sharing special parts of their cultures: Mathieu’s family’s tomato sauce and Mumu’s Taiwanese tea. Amid busy lives, with Mumu studying design in France and Mathieu aiming to join SNCF, they supported each other’s ambitions. Their unique engagement came one morning when Mumu suggested they marry, a plan Mathieu readily supported, showcasing their decisive and supportive nature. Their journey led to a beautiful wedding at the elegant Chateau de Ferrieres.
