Location: Eymet • Dordogne • Nouvelle-Aquitaine • South of France
Tom and Samantha’s wedding at Château Lacanaud, a beautiful wedding chateau with infinity pool and guest accommodation was both professional perfection and deeply personal joy. Their story began in the snowy peaks of Val d’Isère and came full circle in the warmth of southern France, where friends and family gathered for a full wedding weekend in the Dordogne. The luxury Dordogne wedding chateau’s grand façade, calm grounds, and endless summer light became the setting for a celebration defined by connection, style, and intention. As both bride and planner, Samantha Hinchliffe curated a weekend that flowed seamlessly from welcome drinks to final dance, embodying her modern, relaxed approach to destination weddings in France.

Design Notes: Clean Lines, Soft Glow, and Architectural Elegance
The wedding design leaned into simplicity at Château Lacanaud with purpose crisp whites, natural light, and subtle texture taking center stage. The Vintage House styled the day with white roses, airy hydrangeas, and smooth table linens that reflected the château’s refined geometry. Glassware shimmered beneath the evening sun, and dinner unfolded beneath the open sky as candlelight softened the stone façade. Every visual decision balanced precision with warmth, leaving room for laughter, music, and ease. Poolside cocktails, live music from The Distractions Band, and long, candlelit tables made the celebration feel intimate yet expansive exactly the kind of weekend the couple had envisioned.
Captured by Marisoul Studio and Planned by Samantha Hinchliffe
As both planner and bride, Samantha Hinchliffe brought her expertise to every detail while still being present in every moment. Her calm precision and creative vision kept the flow natural and the atmosphere joyful, while Marisoul Studio, among the talented wedding photographers in the Dordogne, documented the day in rich, golden light. From poolside candids to starlit dancing, Joey and Eduardo’s imagery revealed the warmth and understated beauty of the event. With styling by The Vintage House, music by The Distractions Band, and rentals from Our Fabulous Things, Château Lacanaud became more than a venue it became the weekend’s heart, holding every laugh, toast, and memory in its glow.
