Location: 40 minutes from Avignon, Provence, South of France
Just outside Avignon, the South of France unfolded in its purest form: candlelight, conversation, and the slow rhythm of summer air. Le Mas des Poiriers, an 18th-century Provence wedding estate with 7 bedrooms surrounded by orchards and olive groves, hosted an intimate dinner that reflected the art of simple living. The American family who gathered here sought not spectacle but connection — a shared table beneath the stars, set in a place where beauty comes naturally. The luxury fully staffed wedding location‘s gardens held the evening in quiet balance, stone walls absorbing the last light, and the sound of laughter carrying softly into the Provençal night.

Mas des Poiriers: Provençal Craft and Contemporary Ease
A luxury farmhouse for weddings and events near Avignon reimagined as a private retreat, Le Mas des Poiriers perfectly captured the essence of Provence elegant, authentic, and grounded in natural beauty. Restored by a New York family with an eye for design, the property blended French heritage with a sense of understated luxury. For this dinner, styling drew from the landscape itself: soft greens, pale blues, and clean whites layered across rustic wood and linen. Nothing felt overworked; each element seemed to belong, from the flicker of candles to the quiet movement of summer air. The result was a tableau of harmony between design and place.
Designed by Charlotte Bruas, Captured by Joeffrey Wingrove
The evening’s flow and visual rhythm were guided by Charlotte Bruas of Love is More Wedding, one of Provence’s talented destination wedding planners, whose refined aesthetic and calm precision shaped the experience. Her design philosophy emphasized authenticity — letting the setting lead rather than compete. Documenting the night was Joeffrey Wingrove, one of Provence’s experienced wedding photographers, whose sensitivity to light and movement brought intimacy and depth to every image. Together, they crafted an atmosphere both effortless and elevated, where Le Mas des Poiriers itself became the defining element — a space where Provençal beauty met thoughtful, modern celebration.
