Location: Burgundy, North of France
Victoria and Louis brought their vibrant, Italian-inspired vision to life during this stunning editorial shoot at Château de Glairans, a picturesque wedding chateau in Burgundy. The inspiration was drawn directly from the warm, relaxed atmosphere of old Italy, creating a setting that felt sunny, joyful, and effortlessly stylish. The unique charm of the location, with its stunning gardens and welcoming poolside, provided the perfect canvas for a relaxed, high-style event. The editorial was designed to feel organic and inviting, featuring rustic elements like dried pasta and fresh bread styled alongside sleek, modern glassware.
Every detail, from the aroma of the woodfire oven to the carefully curated cocktails, was thoughtfully placed to enhance the immersive, laid-back vibe. This sense of intentional design ensured the overall mood was perfectly captured, allowing the creative team to fully explore the vibrant possibilities of the setting. The event was not just a shoot, but a complete experience, showcasing how a specific cultural inspiration can elevate a French celebration. The Château de Glairans, a beautiful estate with onsite accommodation in the North of France, with its historical context, provided a magnificent contrast to the playful Italian food and music theme.

Tomatoes, Vinyl & Woodfire: A Playful Mix of Italian Design and Flavor
The design was bursting with personality, thanks to the creative direction of Labricole, an experienced design agency in Burgundy, who focused on a bold yet balanced color scheme. Cherry red and green accents were used throughout the setup, beautifully contrasted with simple white and red linens to maintain a fresh, vibrant aesthetic. The unique visual appeal stemmed from the integration of flavor and decor: ripe tomatoes, dried pasta, and rustic breads were intentionally used as design elements, creating a tactile and authentic Italian feel.
The courtyard was transformed into a buzzing, warm space as the sun set, setting the scene for the outdoor dinner reception along the main avenue. This attention to detail ensured that while the look was bold, it remained refined and perfectly styled. The design avoided unnecessary complication, utilizing low floral arrangements to keep the sight lines open and breezy across the tables. The modern place settings, featuring chic glassware, provided the final anchor, successfully marrying the rustic charm of old Italy with modern French elegance.
The Team Behind This Italian Summer Celebration
The entire atmosphere was orchestrated to be friendly and easygoing, a mood perfectly encapsulated by the unique guest experience. The musical element was a defining feature, with the soundscape elevated by a cool, retro vinyl bar curated by Sam Even Prod. Guests flipped through records, enjoying a tactile, laid-back vibe. Live sounds were provided by the musical duo Les Yeux d’Olga, setting a personal and uplifting tone. The culinary experience was similarly interactive, centered around a woodfire oven where Pizza Fasoli freshly fired mouthwatering pizzas and breads.
Zesty cocktails were poured tableside by Au Verre Vide’s mixologist, complemented by La P’tiote Soif’s refreshing cold brew bar. Innelyss’s elegant wedding cake provided the sweet ending alongside L’Atelier Sucré’s guest favors. The nostalgic addition of a vintage vehicle from Balade Rétro Bourgogne completed the scene. This entire vision was beautifully captured by Ilkeys, a professional editorial photographer in the North of France, with film preserved by Alexandre Petrella, showcasing the heart and talent poured into every element of this vibrant shoot.
