Location: 1.5 hours from Marseille, Provence, South of France
Abbaye Saint Eusèbe, a 12th-century Benedictine abbey in Saignon, Provence offered an atmosphere of calm beauty for Marine and Freeman’s celebration. The historic abbey used for weddings and events surrounded by olive trees and the pale stone, set the tone for a day that balanced quiet elegance with modern restraint. Guests arrived to the soft light of the countryside and the sound of leaves moving in the warm air. The setting felt deeply rooted, yet personal a place where centuries-old walls carried new emotion. Each moment unfolded with ease, from the first welcome to the ceremony that followed in the nearby church.

Ceremony, Cypress Walks, and a Garden Reception at Abbaye Saint Eusèbe
The ceremony took place inside the village church, where rustic arches and stone walls framed a heartfelt exchange of vows. Afterwards, guests followed Marine and Freeman into the gardens of Abbaye Saint Eusèbe for a relaxed cocktail reception. The late afternoon light filtered through cypress trees as conversation and laughter filled the air. The couple later wandered down the abbey’s iconic cypress alley for portraits, pausing between trees and quiet light. As evening drew in, dinner was held within the abbey’s interior, where white florals, soft drapery, and candlelight brought a refined glow to the old stone.
Creative Direction, Refined Florals, and Elegant Provence Atmosphere
Jasmin & Peonies, one of Provence’s experienced wedding planners, orchestrated the day with a natural sense of rhythm and grace. Flower by Céline arranged romantic all-white florals that enhanced the abbey’s architecture, while Be Lounge added sophisticated rental pieces that framed each space with purpose. The bride wore a gown by Atelier Aude Demontille, styled by Larissa Beauty Paris, her look echoing the timeless tone of the celebration. Photographer Maya Maréchal, one of the admired wedding photographers in Provence, captured light, texture, and emotion with quiet precision, while Thomas Augier Films recorded the day’s movement in film. Each element reflected intention, artistry, and the timeless appeal of Provence.
