Tariq and Abbie first met during their first week of medical school in 2010, a friendship that soon deepened into something lasting. Nearly a decade later, a proposal in Venice set the course for their South of France wedding. Domaine le Castelet, a luxurious wedding estate with a restaurant 1 hour from Carcassone, offered the relaxed rhythm they envisioned: open lawns, soft light, and sweeping countryside views. A Classic Palette and Handcrafted Details
The couple chose a palette of soft neutrals and pale pinks to complement the natural setting of Domaine le Castelet. Abbie carried a bouquet of blush and white blooms mixed with eucalyptus, reflecting the gentle tone of the day. Flowers, stationery, hair, and makeup were all prepared by close friends, adding intimacy and warmth to the preparations.
