Location: Tarn • Occitanie • South of France
Domaine le Castelet, an intimate, romantic, and budget-friendly winter wedding venue provided a refined setting of stone facades, tall shutters, and terraced gardens for a wedding design that explored peach in layered tones. Designer Sophie and planner Adeline Roux de Murzeau shaped the brief around color and texture, choosing elements that adapted naturally from courtyard light to salon shade. The beautiful and large manoir style property’s balance of historic architecture and modern ease made each transition seamless, with pressed linens, polished glass, and the scent of candles setting an understated rhythm. Across lawns and terraces, the palette shifted gently with the sun warm, soft, and deeply connected to its Provençal surroundings.

Florals, Stationery, and Tables that Defined Refined Simplicity
Floral designer Nadezda created compositions of ranunculuses, poppies, anthuriums, and light greenery, arranged to lift the eye without crowding the scene. Each grouping brought color and structure in equal measure. Studio Douceur carried the same precision through stationery, its typography clean and tonal washes harmonizing with the table linens. Option Toulouse supplied fine tableware—patterned plates, crystal glassware, and polished cutlery that reflected candlelight in the evening. Around Domaine le Castelet, mantels and doorway clusters echoed the main floral scheme, while a morning brunch vignette added fresh tomatoes for contrast. The gown, a strapless design from Anges et Rêves with lace and fine rhinestones, moved gracefully across the stone floors as photographers traced every quiet gesture.
Craft, Collaboration, and the Rhythm of the South of France
The creative process unfolded in steady rhythm, guided by Adeline Roux de Murzeau, one of the South of France’s most experienced wedding planners. Her clear structure allowed for precise resets as light changed and styling evolved. Designer Sophie refined balance and palette, Nadezda adjusted stems to the soft breeze, and Studio Douceur matched paper tones to linen. Wedding photographer Fabrice Joubert, among the talented wedding photographers in the South of France, documented texture, movement, and detail as the day progressed from daylight to candlelight. Together, the team shaped an atmosphere that felt calm, tactile, and connected—a celebration where conversation, craft, and place worked in perfect harmony at Domaine le Castelet.
