Romantic Glamour with Rose Gold Details
The theme for the day at Château La Durantie was romantic glamour, brought to life through rose gold accents, cascading florals, and candlelight. Charlotte wore a structured Zahavit Tshuba gown paired with Christian Louboutin heels, her look blending classic French grace with modern sparkle. The civil ceremony took place beneath a stone canopy at the edge of the gardens, framed by an arch of blush and white blooms. A string quartet played Oasis and Elton John as guests watched from petal-lined aisles. Dinner followed outdoors beneath the evening sun, with a single horseshoe-shaped table uniting all guests for a shared meal surrounded by flowers and candlelight.
Florals, Film, and the Emotion of the Day
The florals by French Flower Style combined hydrangeas, David Austin roses, and carnations in soft tones, echoing the château’s romantic architecture. Videographer Matthias Guerin, one of France’s most talented wedding filmmakers, captured the day in motion with his signature natural style. Photography came from Lydia, among the trusted wedding photographers in the Dordogne, whose light-filled approach aligned perfectly with the couple’s vision for natural glamour. As confetti fell during their first dance to Charlene Soraia’s “Wherever You Will Go,” the air shimmered with gold and laughter. It was a moment that defined the celebration — heartfelt, refined, and wholly their own.
