Jamie and Dustin travelled from Australia to celebrate at Chateau de Robernier, a fairytale wedding castle surrounded by Provencal vineyards, gathering their closest family and friends for a weekend of garden ceremonies and candlelit dinners. Captured by Laurine Bailly, an acclaimed wedding photographer based in Provence, the celebration unfolded across Provence’s celebrated wedding destination near Aix-en-Provence.

The bride is walking through an indoor hallway of what appears to be a classic French château or manor, heading toward the ceremony. She wears a fitted white gown with spaghetti straps, feather detailing, and a tulle overlay train, carrying a bouquet of white peonies and soft blush blooms. Two bridesmaids flank her in matching sage green jacquard full-length dresses with ruffled hems and square necklines, each holding a bouquet of blush, peach, and white flowers with trailing ivory ribbons. Behind the group, two adults — a man in a black tuxedo and a woman in a navy dress — follow through a doorway framed with white and gold molding, beneath which hangs a wrought-iron lantern with candles; a crystal chandelier is visible in the background room. The floor is a black and white marble checkerboard, and the interior décor includes gilded Louis XVI-style armchairs, blue and white chinoiserie porcelain vases, and potted greenery, reflecting a classic, formal French interior style. Jamie dressed in a sunlit room overlooking the estate grounds, her gown’s delicate fabric catching the light as final adjustments were made. Hair was pinned with quiet precision while bridesmaids gathered nearby, laughter lifting through the open window. The calm of the morning held a current of anticipation before the walk to the garden.

The ceremony unfolded in the main garden, where Tepee Sauvage arranged low clusters of peonies and garden roses along the aisle. Greenery shaped the space without distraction, and the soft palette carried through linens, menus, and candlelight. Jamie and Dustin exchanged vows beneath open sky, framed by the pale stone facade and manicured lawns of the estate.

A bridal portrait taken indoors in a bright, ornate room with white and gold paneled walls, tall French windows, and a green and white diamond-patterned marble floor. The bride stands alone, looking downward, wearing a fitted ivory lace gown with a long cathedral-length tulle veil draped over one shoulder. She holds a compact bouquet of white orchids and ivory blooms with green foliage. Her dark hair falls in loose waves past her shoulders. The room is decorated in a classic French interior style, with a decorative porcelain lamp on a white and gold console table and a silver urn-style vessel on the windowsill. This black-and-white bridal portrait shows a bride walking across a gravel courtyard in front of a large French château, photographed at dusk with interior lights visible through the ground-floor windows. The bride wears a strapless lace A-line gown with a flowing train, which she lifts slightly with one hand, and carries a loose, unstructured bouquet of light-toned blooms with large petals — likely tulips or ranunculus. She has long, wavy dark hair worn down and is laughing with her eyes cast downward. The image is shot in high-contrast black and white, with bright highlights on the dress and soft mid-tones throughout the background architecture. The composition is a full-length portrait with the château façade centered behind her. © Laurine Bailly

Laurine Bailly photographed the bride on the grand stairway, using the symmetry of pale stone balustrades and the height of the facade to frame each portrait. The gown’s movement against the architecture created a quiet drama, while close-up shots drew out texture in the fabric, veil, and floral details held at her side.

The bride wears a fitted white gown with a long cathedral-length veil trailing on the ground, and carries a bouquet of white and cream blooms. The groom wears a navy suit with black loafers. The driveway is lined with manicured round-canopied trees and pink-flowering shrubs, with the stone façade of the château visible at the end of the path. This is a black-and-white couples portrait of a bride and groom posing together indoors in what appears to be a French château or grand manor house. The groom wears a black tuxedo with a bow tie and loafers, while the bride wears a fitted strapless lace gown with floral appliqué detailing and a long cathedral-length veil that trails across the floor. She holds a round bouquet of large blooms that appear to be peonies, orchids, and anthurium-style flowers. The interior setting features a black-and-white checkered marble floor, ornate white molded wall paneling, an arched mirror, a bronze equestrian sculpture on a gilt console table, and a wrought-iron lantern pendant light visible in the background. The composition is a medium full-length portrait with high contrast tones, shot in a classic editorial style. © Laurine Bailly

Laurine Bailly worked with natural light across the terraces and garden paths, capturing Jamie and Dustin in wide architectural frames and close, unhurried moments. The bridal party joined for relaxed group portraits on the lawn, the vineyard stretching behind them. Each image balanced the grandeur of the estate with the warmth between the couple.

Citron Pavot served a menu rooted in Provencal flavours as guests gathered at long tables beneath strings of light. Crystal glassware reflected each flicker of flame, and vintage typography on Lewes Lettering Co table numbers added a handwritten warmth. After cocktails on the terrace, the courtyard became the stage for a first dance as night settled over the trees.

Tepee Sauvage designed arrangements in a soft palette of peonies, garden roses, and trailing greenery that carried from ceremony arch to dinner tables. Lewes Lettering Co crafted stationery with vintage typography, and Joli Bazaar supplied furniture that grounded the garden setting with rustic elegance. Heirloom pressed paper and floral prints added tactile detail to each place setting.
