Invisible String: Kirstin and Ryan's Wedding in Gordes

Kirstin wore a Justin Alexander Signature gown with a veil custom-made by White Swan Boutique. She paired the dress with Badgley Mischka shoes and a Judielee Bridal hairpiece, and Margaret Misenar and Macy Rohn Hair looked after her hair and make-up. For Ryan, Anthony Mason made a custom suit.

Kirstin walked down the aisle with her father as the Incanto Musique Strings Trio played “Invisible String”. Her father then officiated, marrying Kirstin and Ryan himself. The song was their nod to the invisible string theory, and to the two childhood friends who had first introduced them, both of whom were among the guests in Gordes.

Lavender went into two of the drinks, a lemonade and a spritz, served alongside cocktails inspired by Fitz, Kirstin and Ryan's Goldendoodle. Small references to lavender turned up across the rest of the weekend too, a nod to how much the pair love Provence.

Clover Gordes and Beef Bar Gordes did the catering, and Jazz Around Midnight played. Later in the celebration, Kirstin changed into a second dress by Elliatt.

There was no traditional wedding cake. Instead, each guest was served an individual tiramisù in a martini glass, with espresso martinis alongside, because that is Kirstin and Ryan's favourite drink.

Moments Lab planned and designed the day in soft greens, crisp whites and warm ivory that let the natural stone of Gordes lead. Maison Celine Jean kept the flowers loose and organic in the same tones, closer to the Provençal landscape than to a formal arrangement.

Kirstin and Ryan added details of their own: personalised napkins, custom matchbooks and cigars, and a logo made for their wedding.
