Location: 1.5 hours from Paris, Ile-de-France, Northern France
Gone are the days of formulaic celebrations. Diana and Sami’s wedding at Château de Villette designated as one of the most important historical Château in France, embodied a shift toward authenticity where history, emotion, and design aligned in one unforgettable scene. The 17th-century château, affectionately known as “Le Petit Versailles,” set the stage with its grand façade, sculpted gardens, and rooms once visited by the Marquis de Lafayette and Benjamin Franklin. Against this backdrop of architectural grace, the couple created a day defined not by tradition, but by personal connection. Guests arrived to the scent of fresh grass and the sound of laughter echoing through the allée, greeted by a setting that honored both French heritage and contemporary sensibilities.

Contemporary Flow, Historic Texture, and Meaningful Design
The Heritage Collection Planning team led by Ana Coelho Duarte designed the experience to feel fluid and personal, balancing structure with spontaneity. The couple’s story unfolded across the estate’s manicured lawns and terraces cocktails at golden hour, a croquet match by the fountain, and dinner under string lights that mirrored the night sky. Every element held purpose: Capucine Atelier’s florals turned botanical composition into poetry, and carefully chosen details reflected the couple’s shared path. Tables featured a muted modern palette that complemented the château’s limestone tones, while the gardens carried the sound of music, conversation, and the occasional burst of laughter. As twilight deepened, the event evolved naturally, each transition guided by light and emotion rather than schedule.
Artistry, Photography, and the Power of Collaboration
Behind the scenes, Wedvibes served as the creative engine for this production bringing together artists and designers from across the world in a shared pursuit of excellence. Their collective vision demonstrated what happens when historic settings meet modern imagination. Among the photographers drawn to the château’s cinematic atmosphere, Candace Cross, one of the expert wedding photographers in Paris, stood out for her ability to translate grandeur into intimacy. Her frames captured both the sculptural lines of Château de Villette and the fleeting gestures between people a hand on a shoulder, a shared glance beneath the lights. The collaboration between Wedvibes, The Heritage Collection Planning, and an experienced global creative team proved a singular truth: that the most compelling weddings are not about spectacle, but about crafting spaces where beauty, story, and authenticity converge.
