Location: Loire Valley, Northern France
Set in the Loire Valley, this fairytale chateau famous for unforgetable celebrations provided the grand yet intimate backdrop for Nivetha and Keval’s Indian wedding celebration. The neo-Gothic château, surrounded by sweeping lawns and forested grounds, offered an atmosphere of grandeur without losing its warmth. Guests dressed in soft pastels filled the gardens as bursts of floral colour framed the outdoor ceremony. Nivetha’s traditional red lehenga stood in radiant contrast against the pale stone of the château, while Keval’s cream sherwani reflected the same refined palette. Together, they brought the vivid spirit of Indian culture to this French setting, creating a weekend that felt both personal and richly layered.

Ritual, Celebration, and Joy in the Loire Valley
The couple’s celebration captured the essence of their cross-cultural story. Their journey began in London and led to this castle in western France, chosen for its romantic architecture and secluded setting. A floral mandap was the focal point of the garden ceremony, its design merging Indian symbolism with the château’s romantic scenery. The air was filled with the sound of laughter and music as family and friends gathered to witness the rituals. When night fell, the celebration transformed with fireworks over the estate and a dance floor alive with energy. Guests in vibrant saris and sherwanis filled the space with rhythm, movement, and joy an unforgettable moment beneath the French sky.
The Creative Team Who Brought the Vision to Life
This celebration came together through the expertise of Cynthia Nicholson, one of Loire Valley’s experienced wedding planners and owner of Château Challain. Her guidance ensured every element from logistics to floral artistry flowed seamlessly across the weekend. The floral installations by Mister Brett, the château’s in-house designer, added softness and color to the historic setting. The day was captured by Flavio Bandiera, among the top wedding photographers in the Loire Valley, whose imagery reflected both the cultural depth and visual splendor of the event. From the red of Nivetha’s Sabyasachi bridal ensemble to the glow of fireworks above the château, every frame told a story of love, heritage, and celebration.
