Location: 40 minutes from Montpellier • Occitanie • South of France
Set in the sunlit heart of Occitanie, just 40 minutes from Montpellier, Truls and Claudia’s wedding at Château Sainte Cécile, an affordable florentine-style wedding château unfolded across two unforgettable days. The château’s gardens and courtyards became a stage for connection and celebration, filled with colour, laughter, and heartfelt moments. From a relaxed seaside gathering the day before to the ceremony beneath a clear blue sky, each part of the weekend reflected the couple’s warmth and personality. Vinyls, Champagne Towers, and Heartfelt Moments
The day began with a heartfelt garden ceremony surrounded by greenery and soft summer light. Guests then moved to Château Sainte Cécile‘s courtyard for cocktails, where a vinyl bar became an instant favourite, letting everyone choose their soundtrack from classics of the ’60s to the ’90s. Drinks flowed from a beer barrel and champagne bar, balancing relaxed charm with French elegance. As night fell, Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E” played during the cake cutting a moment that felt cinematic and deeply personal to the bride. A surprise live saxophone performance followed, bringing emotion and energy that lingered long into the evening.
A Creative Team Full of Heart
The weekend came together through the creative direction of Claudia of StyloWeddings, a leading wedding planner in Occitanie, who planned her own celebration with the intuition of someone born for the role. Her thoughtful details were beautifully captured by Martina Skrobot, one of the most admired wedding photographers in Occitanie, with second shooter Karolina Moczulska adding her artistic eye. Amas Films documented the emotion on video, while The Flower Shop by Jennifer Shephard filled the spaces with soft, natural arrangements. Each supplier contributed to a celebration that felt modern, heartfelt, and full of joy—a perfect expression of love in the South of France.
