Soft Pink and Candlelight at Chateau de Tourreau, Provence

A soft pink palette threaded through every layer of this celebration at Chateau de Tourreau, an exclusive Provencal estate near Orange and Avignon, from Floraison Paris florals to candlelit courtyard linens. Charlotte Wise Photography captured the day as golden afternoon light shifted to blue hour across the formal gardens. Getting Ready

A getting-ready scene captured indoors in what appears to be a classically decorated room with white panelling and gold wall sconces fitted with candles. The bride stands with her back to the camera while two bridesmaids in blush pink sequined robes fasten the back of her wedding dress. The gown features three-quarter-length sheer lace sleeves, a deep V-back neckline, floral lace bodice with covered buttons running down the back, and a flowing ivory skirt. The bride's dark hair is styled in a twisted chignon updo. A large gilt-framed mirror in the background reflects the smiling face of one bridesmaid and the front of the bride's dress. The composition is a close-up portrait shot focused on the back of the dress and the hands of the bridesmaids assisting with the fastening.
A close-up portrait of a bride during the getting-ready phase, photographed indoors in a light-filled room with neutral white walls and a mirror visible in the background. She is wearing a white lace wedding gown with long sheer lace sleeves, a deep V-neckline with scalloped lace detailing, and a satin skirt with a thin belt at the waist. Her dark brown hair is styled in a low updo, and she wears small stud earrings. Her makeup includes defined brows, smoky eye liner, and a natural pink lip. She is smiling and looking slightly off-camera to one side.

Inside Chateau de Tourreau's pale-walled bridal suite, the Suzanne Neville gown lay across a French daybed, its heavy duchess satin catching the low light through tall shuttered windows. Bridesmaids gathered close as the final buttons were fastened, and Charlotte Wise Photography found the half-smile between laughter and composure that makes this sequence feel genuinely alive.

Ceremony

An outdoor wedding ceremony ring exchange moment, with the bride laughing as she extends her hand toward the groom. The ceremony takes place beside a formal rectangular reflecting pool, with a large floral arch behind the couple featuring blush, dusty pink, and cream garden roses, anemones, and lush greenery. The bride wears a long-sleeve lace-bodice ballgown with a full tulle skirt and a cathedral-length veil; the groom is dressed in a light blue suit with brown monk-strap shoes. A third figure, likely the officiant, stands between and behind them in a navy suit, holding a microphone and the bride's bouquet of blush and cream garden roses. The shot is a medium full-length portrait taken at ground level.

Vows were exchanged between the stone fountains and plane trees on the estate's formal lawn, the afternoon holding a golden stillness that carried every word. Floraison Paris framed the space with arrangements in blush and warm ivory, each softening the architectural lines without competing with them.

Against clipped hedgerows and cream balustrades, the Suzanne Neville gown held its own, structured through the bodice, fluid at the hem, and perfectly scaled to the formal garden behind it. Charlotte Wise Photography used the low Provencal sun to trace the silhouette against pale gravel and dark yew, producing portraits where fabric, stone, and light feel inseparable.

A couple portrait taken outdoors on the stone terrace of a French château, with the main building visible and softly blurred in the background. The bride wears a white A-line gown with a lace-trimmed bodice, long lace sleeves, and a cathedral-length veil with a lace hem; she holds a loose bouquet of blush, dusty rose, and burgundy garden roses with trailing dusty pink ribbon. The groom wears a light blue three-piece suit with a navy tie and a blush rose boutonnière; the two are turned toward each other, with the groom looking at the bride. The château behind them features pale stone architecture with green shutters, a formal parterre garden with clipped hedges, and decorative stone balustrades, lending a classic French estate setting to the image. Potential venue feature image.
A couple portrait taken outdoors on the forecourt of a French château, with the main façade softly out of focus behind them. The bride wears a white A-line gown with long lace illusion sleeves, a deep V-neckline, and a lace-edged cathedral veil; her dark hair is pulled back in an updo. The groom wears a light blue three-piece suit with a navy tie and a single blush pink rose boutonnière, paired with tan suede monk-strap shoes. He stands behind her with one hand at her waist, looking down at her, while she faces the camera directly. The château behind them features pale stone architecture with sage green shutters, ornate balustrades, and formally clipped boxwood hedging flanking a central path, suggesting a classic French estate setting. The overall styling is classic and polished. Potential venue feature image.

Blue hour arrived near the water features, the sky shifting to violet-grey while every artificial light turned gold by contrast. Charlotte Wise Photography worked without fuss, and the resulting frames hold two people entirely present with each other against Chateau de Tourreau's pale stone, in the particular hush that only the last twenty minutes of daylight can produce.

A bridal party portrait taken outdoors on a gravel path in front of a ornamental pond or reflecting pool. The bride stands at center in a white ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and a long cathedral-length veil, holding a loose bouquet of blush, ivory, and peach roses and anemones with a blush ribbon trailing. She is flanked by five bridesmaids wearing matching blush pink tiered lace midi-to-maxi dresses with flutter sleeves and V-necklines, each holding smaller versions of the bridal bouquet with ivory and blush blooms. One male attendant stands at far right in a cream blazer, black trousers, patent loafers, and a patterned orange and red tie. The group is composed in a wide portrait shot with all seven subjects facing the camera and smiling.

Bridesmaids wore floor-length gowns in a soft blush closer to pale peony than dusty rose, the warmth reading beautifully against the garden's stone and greenery. Floraison Paris built their bouquets from garden roses, shell-pink ranunculus, and trailing eucalyptus. One unguarded moment near the water feature, laughter mid-frame, adjusting each other's flowers, is the image that stays.

Hundreds of candles lined the long courtyard tables and traced the stone balustrades as night arrived, casting amber light across every face and every glass of champagne. HD Moments captured dancing and toasts while Charlotte Wise Photography stole quieter frames between. The blush linens warmed to champagne under candlelight, and the flowers deepened to the colour of a rose left in the sun.

Design and Details

Close-up detail shot of an outdoor wedding reception table setting, likely table number 6 as indicated by a white card in a silver holder. The white linen tablecloth is set with silver-edged charger plates, a linen napkin in a neutral grey-beige tone, silver vintage-style cutlery including two knives and a spoon, cut-crystal wine glasses, and a smoky mauve-tinted lowball glass. A printed menu card with an illustrated venue header is placed at the setting. The centerpiece features blush pink garden roses, soft white blooms, and green foliage. Natural wood bistro-style chairs are visible in the background. The overall decor palette is blush pink, white, and silver with a classic French garden aesthetic.

Long tables dressed in pale blush linen from Maison Options and Joli Bazaar carried a raw-edge texture that kept the look from reading too formal. Floraison Paris built low centrepieces from garden roses, ivory sweet peas, and wax flower, arrangements scaled to invite conversation across the table. Cut crystal scattered the late-afternoon light into small rainbows across the cloth.

Flat Lays

Grey folio stationery with gold monogram, Jimmy Choo crystal heels, and blush garden rose bouquet
A close-up detail shot of a bridal bouquet resting on a tulle veil with a lace trim edge. The bouquet is composed of peach garden roses, blush pink sweet peas, white ranunculus, pale pink spray roses, and a deep burgundy scabiosa, with green foliage throughout. The stems are bound with a long dusty pink satin ribbon tied in a trailing bow. The overall floral palette is soft and romantic, mixing warm peach and blush pink tones with dark burgundy accents. The styling is loose and garden-inspired rather than tightly structured.
A bridal flat lay styled on a light grey upholstered armchair inside what appears to be a château or formal interior, identifiable by white panelled walls, marble tile flooring, and a wrought iron staircase visible through an open doorway in the background. A tulle veil with lace appliqué trim drapes over the chair and spills onto the floor, with a pair of white satin Manolo Blahnik pointed-toe heels embellished with crystal buckle detailing placed at the center. A bridal bouquet composed of blush pink roses, peach garden roses, ivory blooms, dark burgundy accents, and green foliage rests against the chair back, with a dusty pink satin ribbon trailing across the seat. The composition is a medium portrait-style detail shot with soft, bright natural light and a classic, romantic styling aesthetic.

Emily and Jo's stationery set the tone before a single flower was arranged: letterpress cards in ivory with blush-ink script, trailing ribbons in dusty rose. The bride's accessories gathered alongside, something delicate at the wrist, shoes with a barely-there heel, and a fragrance bottle catching soft window light. Floraison Paris added loose buttonholes that smelled of white garden roses and cool green stems.
