Location: Paris • Ile-de-France • North of France
Set just outside Paris, this elegant 18th-century castle set in lush parkland offered a fitting backdrop for a celebration grounded in lineage and belonging. For Edward and Zoe, the day carried personal meaning Edward’s Mole ancestors once lived in this property, and returning here gave their wedding a rare sense of continuity. This castle on the outskirts of Paris’s symmetrical façade, formal salons, and broad lawns shaped both the visual story and the pacing of the day. Guests arrived to the sound of gravel underfoot and the sight of clipped gardens leading toward a ceremony framed by stone and sky. The family seal appeared on napkins and paper pieces, bridging past and present as conversation lifted across the terrace of this grand North of France estate.

A Blue Palette, Global Tables, and Dinner Beneath the Open Sky
Despite a season prone to rain, the couple chose to dine outdoors, preserving the château’s façade as a glowing backdrop to dinner. AS Luxury designed a blue-toned ceremony arch and floral compositions that stood out in soft contrast against pale limestone. The tablescape followed the same restraint: neutral linen, glassware that caught the late light, and fine details that read clean and modern. With guests representing 28 nationalities, each table carried the name of a city significant to the couple’s journey turning the allée into a subtle map of shared milestones. The mood remained light and convivial, anchored by a champagne pour that drew laughter before the first course and a gentle breeze that moved through the park.
Direction, Imagery, and Moments That Endured
Behind the seamless flow was Momento Mio, one of France’s talented wedding planners, whose team coordinated weather decisions, protected service routes, and timed transitions between salons, terraces, and lawn. Their clear direction kept guests comfortable and the rhythm intact. The story was captured by Morgane Ball, among the stylish wedding photographers in France, who balanced close compositions of crests and florals with wide architectural frames. Her imagery reflected both the formality of Château de Champlâtreux and the intimacy of the couple’s vows and speeches. As the evening cooled and the sky turned soft grey-blue, the day came full circle a modern Paris celebration rooted in family heritage, travel, and community, elegantly brought together in one coherent scene.
