Heirlooms and an XXL Tart at Château de La Napoule
Catherine and Guillaume's summer wedding at Château de La Napoule near Cannes: an all-white ceremony, fuchsia and red flowers, family heirlooms and an XXL tart.

Catherine and Guillaume fell in love in Barcelona and married in summer at Château de La Napoule, on the Mediterranean near Cannes, with 80 guests. CC Weddings & Events, who planned the day, describe the couple's approach as "fun over fancy", and family mattered to both of them.
Bold reds and fuchsia pinks went into the flowers and the table details, while the ceremony setting was kept traditional and all white against the château's natural stone. There, the colour came from the guests, who wore bold, bright shades. In the summer heat, their comfort was planned for too, with shaded areas, plenty of water and later timings where possible.
Catherine is a TikTok content creator, so photography, film and social content mattered from the start. Alongside the photographs and the film, a dedicated content creator captured the spontaneous, behind-the-scenes moments.

Catherine did her own hair and makeup and wore the Kitt gown by Watters, chosen in part because her mother's name is Kitty. Over it went a custom lace bolero, made with her tailor in London from lace she had sourced in New York. Her pink Viguera espadrilles, discovered in Barcelona, matched the flowers.
Her earrings were the pair her mother wore on her own wedding day in 1994, and her mother's aquamarine ring was her "something borrowed and blue". She also wore her late grandmother's wedding band, engraved with her grandparents' wedding date and her own.

As daylight faded, the château was lit with candles for dinner and the party. The tables were laid with crisp white tablecloths, pale-pink napkins and fuchsia and red flowers. Pink came back in the ribbons on the personalised tambourines the planners added.
The food followed the couple's fun-over-fancy approach: generous and hearty, with a giant XXL tart in place of a traditional wedding cake and, late in the night, a snack served in newspaper-style wrapping. For the party, Catherine changed into a customised SAU LEE Sabrina Dress, and a black-and-white checked dance floor gave the romantic château setting a modern, playful edge.

Vintage frames surrounded the seating chart. They held pictures of Catherine and Guillaume as children and family photographs, alongside images of loved ones who could not be there on the day.
