A Love Story Across Continents and a Proposal Beneath the Stars
Their story began at another wedding — a chance introduction that soon led to shared meals, laughter, and boat trips that deepened friendship into love. Nine months later, a trip to Bali marked their first kiss and the start of a life filled with travel: the Bahamas, Miami, Dubai, Monaco, and beyond. The proposal came three years later in Dubai, at the Siddhartha Lounge rooftop. Beneath the city’s evening lights, he presented a candlelit cake and a heartfelt speech before asking, “Do you want to be my wife?” Her answer a resounding yes echoed the journey that had already taken them across oceans together.
An Island Elopement Full of Light and Joy
Originally planned for Anguilla, the wedding was reimagined when borders closed. Saint Martin, the couple’s beloved island, became the natural choice. The celebration came together through Seventhday, one of the Caribbean’s trusted wedding planners, and Smile and Shine Photography, among the talented destination wedding photographers in the Caribbean. Together they shaped a celebration rich in warmth and color from the scent of sea air to the sparkle of sunset on glassware. As the evening faded, music from DJ Maestro filled the villa courtyard and laughter carried into the night, marking the moment their long-distance story found its home.
