About the Venue

Set within the hilltop village of Bonnieux in the heart of Provence’s Luberon region, this prestigious estate spans 1175m² across 116 hectares of vineyards and woodlands. Historically part of a long-standing wine-producing domain, the château and cottages have been carefully restored to preserve their traditional stone architecture while providing modern comforts.

The estate is exclusively available for weddings and private events, offering couples the privacy of hosting their celebration across a fully privatised domain. Château les Vignes hosts up to 150 guests for a reception and offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony settings—from the panoramic terrace and landscaped gardens to four interconnecting reception halls.

The surrounding region includes some of France’s most picturesque villages, such as Lourmarin and Ménerbes, making it a highly sought-after destination wedding location. Couples can enjoy breathtaking vineyard views and Provençal sunsets as they celebrate in a setting defined by authenticity, history, and natural beauty.

Accommodation:

Château les Vignes accommodates up to 26 guests in 13 elegantly appointed bedrooms—eight within the château and five across two charming cottages. Each room retains the estate’s historic character while offering comfort suited to luxury destination weddings. The estate includes 10 bathrooms, providing privacy and ease for larger groups.

The minimum stay is two nights, and additional nearby hotels can be recommended for larger parties. During the harvest season (mid-August to mid-October), only the cottages are available. All accommodations are air-conditioned and WiFi-equipped, ensuring a relaxed and connected stay within a serene and rural Provençal setting.

Amenities:

The estate offers extensive amenities ideal for hosting elegant wedding events. It features four spacious, interconnected reception halls, a 290m² outdoor esplanade for dining, a 100m² panoramic terrace, landscaped gardens, a pétanque court, and two swimming pools with a pool house. A professional kitchen supports external caterers, while estate wines must be used (€12–€19 per bottle).

Château les Vignes includes a wine cellar, parking for 85 vehicles, and outdoor ceremony spaces. A €300 post-event cleaning fee and mandatory security staff apply. Furniture includes 40 bistro chairs and tables, and staff are provided to assist throughout your stay and event.

Getting there

From Paris: Couples can take the high-speed TGV from Paris to Avignon TGV station, located approximately 25km from the estate. From there, a car or private shuttle transfer is recommended to complete the journey to Bonnieux.

From London: From London, couples should fly into Marseille Provence Airport (MRS), which is 90km from the estate. A direct transfer by car from the airport to the venue provides the most convenient and scenic route through southern France.
