A private Languedoc wine estate for multi-day weddings, between Nîmes and Montpellier.
Domaine de Christin is a private wine estate near Sommières, between Nîmes and Montpellier, in the Languedoc at the gateway to Provence. The estate spans 60 hectares of vineyards, meadows, olive trees and woodland, and is hired on an exclusive-use basis for multi-day weddings. Up to 101 guests stay on site in gîtes, studios and an apartment, rising to 131 with the nearby villas. Celebrations move between the air-conditioned, soundproofed Chai d'Eden reception hall and several outdoor ceremony and reception settings. Between them, 2 swimming pools, a jacuzzi and a full roster of leisure activities fill the days, with personalised support from booking through to the final morning.

The Venue History
12th century · Traditional Languedoc wine and agricultural estate
Domaine de Christin dates, by the owners' account, to the 12th century, when it grew up as a working wine and agricultural estate in the South of France. It adjoins the Château de Christin, with which it once formed a single property and which is still visible from several of the accommodations and reception areas. Surrounded by vineyards, meadows, olive trees and woodland, the estate has long been tied to the land and to rural life. Hélène and Éric Buray have restored it over many years, converting former agricultural buildings into guest accommodation and reception spaces while keeping its original character.
