About This Venue
An 18th-century château near Avignon, hired for exclusive use, with 12 bedrooms and 5 event spaces.
Château Saint Perret is a private estate in Montfavet, on the edge of Avignon in the Vaucluse, about 15 minutes by car from the city. It is hired for exclusive use over a weekend of at least 2 nights. Couples bring their own caterer and suppliers, and a wedding planner is required, hired separately.
The estate has 5 event spaces. La Grange, a vaulted 19th-century barn that once housed the estate's essential oil atelier, seats 130 for dinner and is also used for dancing. L'Orangerie, which links the château to Le Mas, seats 40 or holds 90 for a cocktail. Le Préau, an open-sided barn with wooden beams, suits a welcome dinner. Outside, the south terrace overlooks the gardens and has room for a marquee, and the north façade faces an avenue of plane trees.
Up to 30 guests stay on site: 7 bedrooms in the château, including the Peony bridal suite, and 5 in Le Mas. Breakfast is included. A typical weekend runs from a Friday welcome dinner to the Saturday ceremony and a Sunday brunch by the pool, with departure on Monday.

The Venue History
The estate began in 1725 with Le Mas, a traditional Provençal farmhouse. The château followed in 1789. For generations it was a private residence. The property has since been restored, keeping its original character. La Grange, the 19th-century barn, was once the estate's essential oil atelier.
