About the Venue

Chateau D’Oche is situated in the picturesque Périgord Vert within the Dordogne region in Southwest France. This neo-gothic castle has been renovated to combine historical elegance with modern comforts. The chateau, originally constructed in the 19th century, was transformed by Master Louis Bourdery, a renowned religious artist. Today, it offers a captivating venue for weddings, surrounded by 13 hectares of parkland. Guests can enjoy the tranquil ambiance of the estate, which features beautifully landscaped gardens and a large swimming pool. The location provides a serene setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, with various indoor and outdoor spaces available for use. Nearby, the charming villages of La Coquille and Jumilhac Le Grand offer additional local attractions, enhancing the overall experience for wedding parties.

Chateau D’Oche offers luxurious accommodation options with ten main rooms, mostly en-suite and individually decorated to reflect the chateau’s neo-gothic style. The South Wing Gite, spanning three floors, provides ample space for up to 24 guests with direct garden and pool access. Additional rooms on the second floor cater to larger parties, offering comfortable yet simpler furnishings. Each room, such as the Pink Room and the Blue Room, is designed with a unique charm, providing guests with stunning views of the estate and modern amenities for a relaxing stay.

From Paris: Chateau D’Oche is approximately a 5-hour drive from Paris. The most convenient route is via the A10 and A20 highways, offering a scenic drive through the French countryside. Alternatively, guests can take a direct train from Paris to Limoges, followed by a 45-minute drive to the chateau.

From London: Traveling from London to Chateau D’Oche involves a Eurostar train from London to Paris, followed by a train from Paris to Limoges, and a 45-minute drive to the chateau. Alternatively, flights from London to Bordeaux or Limoges are available, with a drive of around 2 hours from Bordeaux and 45 minutes from Limoges.
