Château Martinay, built in 1763 by the Isnards family near Carpentras in Provence, was burned during the French Revolution and rebuilt in 1836 using stones from the city ramparts. Restored in 2018 by Pierre Deltin and his family, it preserves fireplaces, moldings, and woodwork while introducing contemporary design, making it a graceful wedding chateau near Avignon.
Set within 35 hectares, the château offers sweeping avenues, shaded pathways, and historic courtyards. Couples benefit from exclusive hire for three days and two nights, with the estate hosting no more than twelve weddings per year. Each celebration can unfold across multiple spaces: Cypress Avenue for ceremonies, the South Courtyard for cocktails, and the 900m² Cour d’Honneur for dinners. Indoor salons allow festivities to continue late into the night.
Its location places it close to Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail, and Avignon, offering couples both seclusion and access to Provence’s cultural landmarks.
