About This Venue

Un lieu d'exception pour un mariage de rêve.

Château de Beauvoir Bourbonnais is a medieval château listed as a Monument Historique, set on a hilltop above the Besbre valley in the Bourbonnais countryside of the Allier. Dry moats and an honour courtyard with an old bridge lead into grounds shaped by formal French gardens, an 18th-century orangerie, a box hedge labyrinth, and a canal lined with rhododendrons. A restored 1815 longère, the Moulin de Beauvoir, sits on the wider estate alongside a hunting lodge and cottage.

Weddings are held with exclusive use of the estate's event spaces and guest accommodation: the hunting lodge, cottage, mill, and a wing of the château sleep up to 60 guests. A private section of the château remains the family's own residence and is not part of the wedding rental. A typical celebration moves through the grounds in stages: the ceremony in the French gardens, cocktails along the olive tree perspective, dinner in the orangerie beneath its centenary wisteria-draped terrace, and brunch the next morning under the lime trees.
