A château built for the love of a woman
Château de Miremont is a 14th-century castle in the Puy-de-Dôme, remodelled in the 19th century in a style inspired by Eugène Viollet-le-Duc and run today by Jean-Noël Mazeron. The whole domain is privatised from Thursday to Monday with no curfew, seating up to 250 guests in the La Métairie reception hall, with the La Ferme du Château gîte and rooms in the château sleeping the wedding party on-site.

Château de Miremont is a 14th-century castle profoundly remodelled in the 19th century in a style inspired by Eugène Viollet-le-Duc. Local tradition holds that it was built for the love of a woman. Jean-Noël Mazeron acquired the château in the early 1980s and opened it for celebrations, privatising the whole domain from Thursday morning to Monday morning.
