The Venue History

12th-17th centuries; rebuilt 1925 · Medieval with 20th century reconstruction

The château has been destroyed and rebuilt several times over its history. It was first constructed in the 12th century, reconstructed in the 17th century, and rebuilt again after World War I in 1925. Medieval underground tunnels of 13 meters deep remain, featuring chalk carvings and historical inscriptions. The castle also features dungeons, vaulted cellar, chapel, and rampart. Previously owned by the archbishopric of Reims, it was acquired by Count Guillaume de Champagne after WWI. In 2020, sisters Blanche-Marie and Laëtitia began a new chapter, completely renovating the château with contemporary materials while preserving its historical character.
