About the Venue

Located in Saint-Christophe-en-Champagne, La Massonnière is a 15th-century manor set within a 4-hectare estate. Both the manor and its gardens are designated historical monuments, preserving their architectural and horticultural heritage. Following an extensive renovation, the property is now available for private events, including weddings, anniversaries, and corporate retreats.

The highlight of the estate is its French garden, designed in the classical style with precisely shaped topiaries and carefully arranged parterres. The garden boasts over 1,000 white roses, creating a striking visual display from April to October. The estate’s pigeonnier, another historic feature, adds to the character of this unique location.

Designed for intimate weddings, La Massonnière accommodates up to 30 guests for celebrations, with overnight lodging for 21 guests. The peaceful countryside setting offers an elegant retreat, conveniently located just two hours from Paris, making it an accessible yet exclusive choice for destination weddings.

La Massonnière offers overnight accommodations for up to 21 guests across a beautifully restored 15th-century manor and a loft-style gîte. The manor features elegantly decorated suites, blending historic character with contemporary comfort. The loft, converted from a barn, provides a modern yet rustic retreat for guests, with an open-plan design.

Each space offers stunning views of the gardens, creating a peaceful and private atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a minimum two-night stay, allowing ample time to appreciate the estate’s tranquil surroundings. For additional convenience, breakfast and brunch options are available, with vintage tableware rental for an added touch of elegance.

Amenities:
The estate is designed to offer a complete experience beyond the wedding celebration. A swimming pool, yoga room, and nearby golf course provide opportunities for relaxation and recreation. 

With WiFi available throughout the property, guests can stay connected while enjoying the estate’s peaceful setting. The venue maintains a 1am curfew, ensuring a balance between celebration and tranquility. While La Massonnière does not offer in-house catering, couples have the freedom to select their preferred caterer, allowing for personalized wedding dining experiences.

Getting there

From Paris: La Massonnière is two hours by car from Paris. Alternatively, guests can take a TGV from Paris Montparnasse to Le Mans (50 minutes), followed by a 30-minute taxi ride to the estate.

From London: Guests traveling from London can take the Eurostar to Paris, transfer to the TGV from Montparnasse to Le Mans, and then take a taxi to La Massonnière (total travel time: approx. 4 hours). A low-cost flight from London to Tours is another option, followed by a 2-hour drive.
