Home to the noble family of the Marquis de Bonneval, one of the oldest lineages in France, for nearly a thousand years. The château has witnessed key moments in French history, with the Bonneval family playing a central role throughout the centuries. It is one of the few castles in the region that is still furnished, inhabited, and open to visitors.
