The Venue History

17th century · Classical French chateau

Dating to the 17th century, Chateau du Fey retains striking original details including fireplaces and mirrors from 1750. The interiors reflect centuries of heritage through a considered mix of antique and modern design. A colourful 400-year history, scattered with French nobility, intellectual luminaries and notable patrons of the arts, shaped the estate. In the 1980s, the previous owners ran an acclaimed cooking school, but the property lay empty for nearly a decade before Jessica Angel and her family discovered it in 2017. At the age of 26, the French architect crowdfunded with her family to acquire the chateau and took on the challenge of turning the historic site into a place of gathering and a laboratory to rethink the world of tomorrow.
